I visited the 2007 Salon de Provence air show at Saturday May the 12th, the rehearsal and spotter day. After the briefing we visited the flight lines for mostly static photography, with good photo possibilities during the arrival of the French Navy Atlantique and the departure of the home based Tucano's. After a good lunch we visited the static display line and the show ground. From here it was possible to photograph the aircraft on the runway or, for the best light conditions, during their display.

On the picture on this page (click for a magnification) you see the flight lines on the left (yellow hangars), the runway from left to over the middle, the show ground was in front of the big building and the display line can just be seen on the left side of and through the big tree on the foreground at the right side.

Because of the good weather and excellent photo opportunities I only visited the air show on the Saturday. The next day, after I made the picture on this page, I made a touring trip through the Provence.
