Participants
For the second time Beauvechain hosted an European Trainers Meet (ETM) in 2005. They combined this event with the farewell ceremony for the Belgian Alpha Jets, which have moved to French training base Cazaux. A lot of Belgian Alpha Jets were present at the spotter day of the ETM and also the other European Alpha Jet users, France and Portugal, had send some planes.

Almost every type of the Belgian Air Force was present, including Army and Navy helicopters. The most special aircraft was the Mystère 20SNA, which is fitted with a Mirage 2000 nose, for training Mirage navigators. Other rare aircraft were the Tornado IDS trainer of Lechfeld, Irish PC-9, Italian SF.260 and the British Dominie and Firefly.

In the morning a dark storm front approached Beauvechain from the north. Because of the sun in the south this gave excellent photo opportunities. Enjoy the French TB-30, or the Portuguese Alpha Jet and the other beautiful photographed aircraft on the following pages!
